Farida Girls foundation was founded in march 2016 and it is located in Mathare Slums Nairobi, Kenya. It basically deals with less privileged young girls in Mathare slums. the aim of the project is to help young Girls get rid of Drugs, Unwanted pregnancies, Crime of Stealing/Robbery, Rape cases  
and HIV/AIDS Advocacy. We empower and educate girls to stand firm in the community and show real change contrary to society beliefs that Girls/Women should always follow men as underdogs and promote gender equality. This project also assist young girls to discover what they can do better from their Talents other will help them avoid peer pressure from. Our future Colleagues by keeping them busy. Our future plans is to target is to all slums Kenya cause we believe if you educate a woman you Educate the whole world.   


 Our Objectives
1. Identifying and monitoring the developing talents among the identified girls.

2. Putting the value of human life as central point of concern.

3. Creating an interactive forum for organization members.

4. Establishing a source centre for developing, receiving and disseminating information

5. Identifying and supporting needy school girls to attain formal education

6. Establishing a sustainable steady network with other stakeholders, the government,
    organized groups, institutions and individuals to help promote the value of the girlchild.

7. Promoting personal cultural and social diversity.

8. Provision of free sanitary towels to school girls

9. Fighting discrimination in all its forms against the girl child: sexual, religious and

physiological

10. Mobilizing human and material resources to uplift

11. Promoting non-violence as the only way achieve results.

Mathare is a collection of slums in Nairobi , Kenya with a population of approximately 500,000 people; [1] the population of Mathare Valley alone, the oldest of the slums that make up Mathare, is 180,000 people. Mathare is the home of football team Mathare United of the MYSA . [2] Gang violence In 2006, Mathare was damaged by violence between rival gangs the Taliban (not to be confused with the Islamist group of the same name), a Luo group, and the Mungiki , a Kikuyu group. [1] Brewers of an illegal alcoholic drink, chang'aa , asked the Taliban for help after the Mungiki tried to raise their taxes on the drink; since then, fighting between the two has led to the burning of hundreds of homes and at least 10 deaths. [1] Police entered the slum on November 7th 2006 and the General Service Unit arrived a day later. However, many residents who fled are still afraid to return.
